The Aurex Ceramic Bowl with Bamboo Stand brings together two of the oldest and purest materials in the world into a product that finds its place in any kitchen. The smooth, pore-free ceramic surface allows no bacteria or odors to penetrate. The FSC-certified bamboo stand raises the bowl to an ergonomically beneficial feeding height. Available in four sizes — from cat to giant breed dog — and four colors that enrich any interior.

Ceramic & Craftsmanship

The bowl is made from stoneware ceramic, fired at 1260 °C — a high-temperature firing process that fully vitrifies the clay matrix and produces a water absorption rate of under 0.5%. This means bacteria, odors, and food residue physically cannot penetrate the material. The feldspar-based reactive glaze is chemically bonded to the stoneware — not merely applied. It is scratch-resistant, dishwasher-safe, and remains smooth and hygienic after hundreds of cleaning cycles. Tested to EN 12875 and EU Regulation 10/2011 — completely free of lead, cadmium, and heavy metals.

Bamboo Stand

The stand is made from FSC-certified Moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis) — sustainably sourced, pesticide-free, with natural antimicrobial properties. The surface is sealed with a water-based, low-VOC clear lacquer — no solvent odor, no off-gassing. The bamboo structure is stable, tip-proof, and handles even the 1800 ml bowl with ease.

Ergonomics & Function

The elevated feeding height relieves the cervical spine and promotes a natural posture — especially important for large dog breeds, where eating from floor level can lead to air intake, gastric dilatation, and chronic neck problems. The wide, shallow bowl shape prevents Whisker Fatigue in cats — no whisker contact with the bowl wall, no stress during eating.

Care

Ceramic bowl is dishwasher-safe — top rack recommended. Do not use in the microwave. Wipe the bamboo stand with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately — do not soak. Occasionally treat with a natural bamboo conditioning oil.
