A dog that pulls is not a bad dog — it is a dog without the right tool. The Aurex Dog Harness is built on a veterinary-recognized principle: a front clip on the chest changes the direction of pull when the dog lunges forward, gently redirecting it sideways without pressure on the throat or cervical spine. No choking. No pain. No restriction. Just a physical principle that works — for large, powerful breeds that have tested every leash before.

Material & Craftsmanship

The strap material is 600D Oxford polyester — a dense, tear-resistant fabric with a 600 denier thread count, originally developed for military equipment bags and climbing ropes. It is water-repellent, abrasion-resistant, and retains its shape even after intensive daily use. All straps are sewn with waxed high-tenacity polyester thread in double stitch — on both sides, symmetrically, under maximum tension.

The chest pad made from 5 mm neoprene (polychloroprene rubber) — the same material used in wetsuits and orthopedic braces — distributes pull pressure across a large, soft contact zone. Neoprene is hypoallergenic, skin-friendly, moisture-repellent, and retains its cushioning effect even after thousands of uses. No chafing, no pressure points, even during hours of wear.

Dual-Clip System & Function

The front D-ring on the chest is the core of the no-pull system. When the dog pulls forward, the front clip rotates the dog's body sideways toward the handler — a natural movement correction without pain or pressure on sensitive structures. This principle is recommended by dog trainers and veterinarians as the most gentle method for reducing pulling.

The additional back D-ring in 304 stainless steel allows classic leash attachment — for relaxed walks when pulling is not an issue. Both clips are made from solid 304 stainless steel, tested to a breaking load of 150 kg, and nickel-free.

Four independently adjustable micro-adjustment buckles in glass fiber-reinforced polyamide PA66 allow millimeter-precise fitting to any body shape. The 3M Scotchlite reflective stitching on all main straps provides 360° visibility in the dark — passive, maintenance-free, permanent.

Safety & Quality

All materials are tested for harmful substances to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 — free of azo dyes, formaldehyde, and allergenic disperse dyes. The neoprene pad is nickel-free and free of harmful plasticizers — suitable for dogs with sensitive skin or contact allergies. The front clip is positioned so it exerts no pressure on the collarbone region or shoulder joint — a detail confirmed in quality testing by a veterinary biomechanist.

Size Guide

Measure neck circumference around the neck. Chest circumference behind the front legs. Back length from center of neck to base of tail. When between sizes, choose the larger size.

Care

Wipe clean with a damp microfiber cloth or machine wash at 86°F (30°C) on a gentle cycle. Air dry only — no dryer, as heat permanently damages the neoprene padding and reflective stitching. Rinse stainless steel clips with fresh water after saltwater contact and dry thoroughly.
