The outer material is high-density polyester Pongee (210T) — a tightly woven, smooth-surface fabric originally developed for technical outdoor equipment. It is lightweight, wind-repellent, dirt-repellent, and machine washable at 86°F (30°C). The characteristic diamond quilting is not merely aesthetic — it creates an additional air-chamber layer between the outer fabric and inner lining that acts as passive thermal insulation while simultaneously absorbing shocks. The Pongee material is tested for over 100 harmful substances to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 — free of azo dyes, formaldehyde, and allergenic disperse dyes.

The inner lining in brushed Sherpa fleece (300 g/m²) — a double-sided plush fabric with a long, soft pile — sits directly against the cat's coat. Sherpa fleece is known for its exceptional softness, its ability to passively retain heat, and its pilling resistance after repeated washing. It absorbs no moisture and dries quickly.

The integrated safety hook in glass fiber-reinforced polyamide PA66 inside the carrier attaches to a standard cat harness and reliably prevents the cat from escaping when the bag is opened — a critical safety factor at the vet or in busy environments. The YKK zippers on the top and side openings run smoothly, do not jam, and are tested to over 10,000 opening cycles. All seams are double-reinforced and tested for tensile strength — the carrier holds even when the cat pushes back.

The spacious interior offers enough room to lie down and turn around — without the feeling of confinement that causes stress in cats. The shoulder strap in high-tenacity polypropylene webbing (38 mm width) is steplessly adjustable and fitted with an ergonomically shaped neoprene shoulder pad — moisture-repellent, pressure-distributing, and fatigue-free even on longer journeys. The two reinforced carry handles in woven cotton-polyester yarn allow hand-carrying as an alternative.
