After a long walk in the rain that means wet fur, damp smell, and a lengthy drying process. The Aurex Dog Coat solves this with technical precision — a TPU membrane that physically blocks rain, thermally sealed seams with no weak points, and an ergonomic cut that does not restrict movement but guarantees it. Material & Craftsmanship

The outer material is a multi-layer technical fabric made from 210D ripstop nylon with a laminated TPU membrane (thermoplastic polyurethane). The microporous membrane layer has pores smaller than water droplets but larger than water vapor molecules — rain cannot penetrate, but body moisture can escape. The same working principle as Gore-Tex, without the brand premium.

The outer surface is treated with a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish (PFAS-free) — raindrops bead off, dirt barely adheres. All seams are thermally sealed with PU seam tape (tape-sealed) — no water entry through needle holes, no capillary action along the seam line. The brushed anti-pilling polyester fleece lining sits directly against the coat — soft, pilling-resistant, and heat-retaining. All materials are tested for harmful substances to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

Design & Function

The ergonomic back cut with pre-shaped shoulder panels follows the natural body line of large dog breeds — no forward shifting during running, no restriction of shoulder movement during jumping. The adjustable belly straps made from high-tenacity polypropylene webbing with cold-resistant velcro allow millimeter-precise fitting to any dog type. The leash opening on the back allows leash attachment without removing the coat. The 3M Scotchlite reflective strips on the back and sides provide visibility at dusk and in the dark — passive, permanent, no batteries required.

Safety & Quality

All materials are tested for over 100 harmful substances to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 — free of azo dyes, formaldehyde, and allergenic disperse dyes. The DWR finish is PFAS-free — no fluorocarbon compounds, no bioaccumulation in your dog's tissue. All strap fasteners and velcro systems are tested for tensile strength and cold resistance.

Size Guide

Measure neck circumference around the neck. Chest circumference behind the front legs. Back length from center of neck to base of tail. When between sizes, choose the larger size.

Care

Hand wash at 86°F (30°C) with mild, phosphate-free detergent. Air dry only — no dryer, as heat permanently damages the TPU membrane and DWR finish. Do not iron. After several washes, refresh the DWR finish with an Oeko-Tex certified, PFAS-free waterproofing spray.
