Ripstop nylon that makes water droplets bead off like lotus petals. Fleece lining that stores no moisture. And a cut that protects all four legs, the belly, the back, and the head — without restricting freedom of movement. Material & Craftsmanship

The outer shell is made from 210T ripstop nylon — a grid-woven high-performance fabric in which reinforced threads are woven at regular intervals to physically block the propagation of tears. The same principle is used in parachutes, ultralight tents, and technical outdoor clothing. The surface is treated with a DWR finish (Durable Water Repellency) — a fluorocarbon-free coating that makes water bead off without affecting breathability, tested for harmful substances to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

The fill is made from hypoallergenic hollow fiber thermal insulation — animal-free synthetic fibers with a structure that traps air chambers and stores body heat like natural down fill, while remaining shape-stable, washable, and completely animal-free. The characteristic channel quilting holds the fill evenly in place and prevents the insulation from shifting into cold zones.

The inner lining in brushed anti-pilling fleece (280 g/m²) sits directly against the dog's skin — soft, pilling-resistant, and moisture-wicking. It transports condensation moisture outward instead of storing it — the dog stays dry and warm even during long winter walks.

Design & Function

The full-body cut with integrated leg sleeves fully protects the back, chest, belly, and all four legs. The integrated hood with an elastic face frame protects the head and ears in wind and rain. The back zipper in cold-resistant YKK plastic allows stress-free dressing and undressing in seconds. The characteristic Aurex signature button in red — the single color element that connects all color variants — gives the overall its unmistakable character.

Safety & Quality

All materials are tested for over 100 harmful substances to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 — free of azo dyes, formaldehyde, and allergenic disperse dyes. The hollow fiber fill is hypoallergenic and completely animal-free. The zipper is tested for cold resistance down to −4°F (−20°C). The overall is machine washable at 86°F (30°C) — easy care and designed for daily winter use.

Available Colors

Gray, Black, Red, Yellow — all colors with the characteristic red Aurex signature button and reactive dyes tested to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

Size Guide

Back length: measure from center of neck to base of tail. Chest: measure the widest circumference behind the front legs. When between sizes, choose the larger size.

Care

Machine washable at 86°F (30°C) with mild, phosphate-free detergent. Do not spin dry. Air dry only — no dryer, as heat permanently damages the DWR finish and hollow fiber fill. After several washes, refresh the DWR finish with an Oeko-Tex certified waterproofing spray.
